* There is some evidence that this aircraft belonged to the 308thBG. Can anyone provide any information on this Lakanooki (B-24J) that could verify it being assigned to the 7thBG or the 308thBG or both (aircraft were often tranferred from on Group to another)? Keep in mind that there was a B-24D assigned to the 308thBG with very similar nose art with the same name. But the photos here are of a B-24J. Please let me know if you can provide any info on this. Thanks!
