1941-1945
Albert Davidson, Panda India, 1943. While landing at Panda, a B24 accidentally
dropped a dud 500 pounder on the runway. The bomb bounced down the runway for
about a half mile. Later, Albert rolled the bomb off the strip, and ordinance blew it in
place...this is Albert in the crater that was left behind.
